One day before the launch of Shenzhou-14, the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) announced astronauts to fly on the mission in a pre-launch press conference on June 04. Astronaut CHEN Dong will serve as the commander of the mission. LIU Yang, China's first female astronaut, will be the co-pilot. CAI Xuzhe, will be the other co-pilot of the 3-person crew. The crews of Shenzhou-12 to -15 have been decided in late 2019. But the names are kept from the public until the last day before launch.
